About Hugo

Hugo has helped numerous individuals for over 20 years to reconstruct their lives after major accidents. Hugo believes every call should be treated as if it’s the First Call. Prior to finding his way into personal injury law, Hugo worked as a manager of a pawn shop at the age of 17. After discovering his real passion, Hugo was certain he had found his place.

One evening, Hugo received a call from a client who was alone in the hospital. She called late at night and sounded very distraught. Hugo answered the call, explained what she needed to do next, and remained involved in her case until the firm obtained a $3 million verdict. This experience validated what Hugo already believed that the first call made after being injured means so much more to most people than they understand.

Hugo attributes many of the skills he uses today to identify Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) to his mentors, particularly Jay Murray. However, Hugo’s greatest source of inspiration comes from those around him. Hugo’s parents have always been there to support him. His kids, Ethan and Haley, are constant reminders as to why this job matters.

Most people would describe Hugo as someone who is reliable, faithful, and always shows up when it counts. Twenty years later, these same qualities continue to guide Hugo. On people’s worst day, he will be there to listen to their fears and provide them with guidance and protection.
