About Collen

You may feel like your world has come crashing down when you suffer serious injuries. This is where a lawyer comes into play, one who has proven himself able to represent injured individuals and families successfully. With over 35 years of national trial experience representing seriously injured individuals and families, Collen A. Clark is a respected and well-known trial attorney.

Over nearly three decades of practice since being admitted to the Bar in 1990, Collen has secured more than $600 million in recoveries for his clients in a variety of complex litigation matters against some of the most powerful corporate entities and insurance companies in the country. Whether the matter involves an oilfield accident, toxic poisoning from chemicals used at work or at home, product defects, or catastrophic loss from a commercial vehicle crash, Collen’s commitment is the same – secure fair compensation for his clients while holding those responsible accountable.

Collen handles complex, high-stakes cases involving:

  • Oilfield accidents and construction accidents
  • Exposure to toxins and toxic torts
  • Product liability
  • Catastrophic Injuries
  • Commercial vehicle crashes and 18-wheeler crashes

Collen prepares each case for trial from the very first day of representation. The insurance companies understand this. Because of this preparation, Collen often achieves much larger settlements than other attorneys might for his clients.

As a second-generation trial attorney, Collen is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Only a few percent of practicing attorneys hold this designation.

Additionally, Collen has been named a “Super Lawyer” (2020-2026) and holds membership in several prominent professional associations, including the American Board of Trial Advocates and the American Association for Justice.

Born and raised in Tyler, Texas, Collen was instilled with a strong work ethic, tenacity, and steadfastness that guide him today in every aspect of his law practice. His zeal for these traits began through competitive rodeos, specifically bull riding and bronc riding. Today, that same drive fuels his commitment to justice for his clients. Collen still has strong ties to his East Texas roots and owns homes in both Smith County and Dallas County.
