About Hugo

Hugo has spent more than two decades helping people put their lives back together after serious accidents, and he still approaches every call with the same focus he had on day one. He came into personal injury work from an unlikely path — managing a pawn shop at 17 years old — but once he found this field, he knew he’d landed where he was meant to be.

One moment that still stays with him is a late-night call from a client who was alone in a hospital bed. Hugo picked up, walked her through the steps she needed to take, and stayed with the case until the team secured a three-million-dollar verdict on her behalf. That experience cemented what he already believed: the first conversation with an injured person can change everything.

He credits mentors like Jay Murray, aka “Jefe” for shaping the way he looks for symptoms associated with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs), but he’ll tell you his strongest influences are closer to home. His parents have always been his biggest cheerleaders, and his kids, Ethan and Hailey, are the ones who keep him grounded and remind him why the work matters.

Ask people who know Hugo, and they’ll describe someone loyal, dependable, and willing to show up when it counts. After twenty years in this field, that’s still what drives him — being the person you can call on your worst day and trust that you’ll be heard, guided, and protected.
