About Apryl

Apryl brings a rare combination of technical expertise, precision, and steady leadership to her role. She completed her undergraduate studies in Physical Education at the University of Arkansas and later earned a degree in Computer Science Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Her professional career began at the Prudential Insurance Company data center and progressed to AT&T Bell Labs, where she served as a Test Engineer. One of her most significant accomplishments was designing a test set and writing the operating system for Quality Returns – a reflection of her technical mastery and disciplined approach to her work.

Throughout her career, Apryl has been guided by strong mentorship and a belief in clear, patient communication. She credits her mentor, John Peters, with shaping her approach to leadership and teamwork.

Apryl grew up in Mesquite as the oldest of six siblings in a close-knit family. Her upbringing instilled in her a strong work ethic, resilience, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

She’s most proud of raising two sons, watching them build their own families, and becoming “Nana” to a grandson with another grandbaby on the way. In her free time, she loves to read and hopes to one day dive the shipwrecks in Turks & Caicos.
