About Arelyn

Arelyn Velasquez has been the Receptionist for our Law Office since 2018. She is typically the first point of contact for our clients and is known for treating all individuals with professionalism and understanding. Many clients come to lawyers during difficult times. Ms. Velasquez strives to provide an environment that allows clients to feel comfortable and respected from their first experience with our firm.

Ms. Velasquez is originally from Dallas, Texas, where her entire family resides. The values of hard work and resiliency were instilled in Ms. Velasquez by her family. After completing high school at West Mesquite High School, Ms. Velasquez attended Dallas College and is currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management. Her ongoing pursuit of education demonstrates her strong desire to achieve success.

In Ms. Velasquez’s opinion, being a professional includes honesty and accountability. When one of our clients had his vehicle damaged while parked outside our law firm building, Ms. Velasquez personally contacted the client and explained the situation, rather than passing this responsibility to another employee. This is just one example of the honesty and accountability she exhibits each and every day.

The largest influences in Ms. Velasquez’ life are her father and her family. Her family encouraged her to continue to grow and focus on her long-term objectives. Ms. Velasquez views challenges as opportunities to learn and improve; thus, she approaches both her profession and education with determination and purpose.

Ms. Velasquez’ coworkers find her to be highly professional, positive, and friendly. In addition to work, Ms. Velasquez enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, learning new things, and engaging in new hobbies.
